SpiritualGifts.AI is operated by Indig, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company (“we,” “us”). We help you discover your spiritual gifts through a guided assessment, a personalized AI report, and an AI conversation we call the Machine. This policy explains what information we collect, why, where it goes, and the choices you have. It covers both the website (spiritualgifts.ai) and our iOS app.

What we collect

• Name and email address — provided when you take the assessment. Your email is how we recognize you across visits and link your saved results.
• Assessment responses — your answers to the 40 assessment questions.
• Interview responses and Machine conversations — the optional guided-interview answers, your generated report, and any messages you exchange with the Machine.
• Purchase information — if you buy replies or support the project, we store your remaining reply balance and the payment’s Stripe or Apple reference. Payments are processed by Stripe (website) or Apple (iOS app); we never see or store your card number.
• Standard server logs — like nearly every website, our hosting provider briefly records technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and prevent abuse. We do not use it to profile you.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and we use no advertising or third-party analytics services.

A note on the nature of this data

By its nature, what you share here — assessment answers, reflections, and conversations about your faith — reveals your religious beliefs and inner life. Laws in many places treat this as sensitive information, and so do we. We process it only to provide the service you are asking for: scoring your assessment, generating your report, and holding your conversation. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never share it beyond the service providers named below.

How we use your information

• Scoring — your responses are sent to our scoring service to calculate your gift profile and archetype.
• AI report and conversation — your results, interview responses, and Machine messages are sent to OpenAI, as our service provider, to generate your personalized report and replies. Per OpenAI’s API terms, this data is not used to train its models.
• Saving your results — your results, report, and conversations are stored with your email so you can return to them. The iOS app also stores them on your device so they work offline.
• Sign-in links — if you request a sign-in link, we email it to you via Resend. Links expire after 15 minutes and work once.

Who your data is shared with

Only the service providers we use to run the product, and only as needed: OpenAI (report and Machine generation), Stripe (website payments), Apple (iOS in-app purchases), Resend (sign-in emails), Upstash (our database), and Vercel and Render (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under their own contractual commitments to protect it. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

Retention and deletion

• We keep your 10 most recent saved sessions so you can return to them.
• Saved sessions expire automatically after one year of inactivity.
• Your reply balance is kept while your account is active.
• To delete everything, email hello@spiritualgifts.ai from the address you used, and we will delete your saved sessions, reply balance, and account records. You can delete individual saved sessions any time on your My Results page, and delete on-device data in the iOS app by deleting saved results or removing the app.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email hello@spiritualgifts.ai and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK or certain U.S. states), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.

Cookies

The website uses a single signed cookie to remember who you are after you take the assessment or sign in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

SpiritualGifts.AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Saved data is held by the providers named above in access-controlled systems, and sign-in uses one-time expiring links rather than passwords. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and post the new version here. Material changes will be noted on the site.
